Meet Dr. Faustin Uzabakiliho

“I received this message from God after I miraculously escaped from the ravages of the Rwandan Genocide in 1994. My deliverance from this violence convinced me that God had a purpose in sparing my life. This resulted in the visioning and forming of Exodus Vision, returning me to Africa to work with refugees and rural pastors.”

Dr. Faustin Uzabakiliho is the president and founder of Exodus Vision. Since 2009, he has been leading summer mission teams to Africa to train church leaders. Faustin earned his M.Div. in Theology from the International Theological Seminary, an MA in Biology from Russian State University in Saint-Petersburg, an M.A in Secondary Education from  California State University of Northridge, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University. He is the author of The Story of Exodus Vision and numerous theological courses for pastoral training. He has been teaching high school science and an onsite continuation program in Southern California for more than 20 years. Born and raised in Rwanda, God miraculously saved him from the 1994 Rwandan genocide. His passion for the plight of the suffering Church in Africa eventually led him to found Exodus Vision and equip African church leaders. He currently resides in Lancaster, California, with his wife Anne and their four beautiful children. They are members of The Highlands Church.
